Dr. Wensing provides a private, peaceful, caring and comfortable passing for your pet in your home. Hair clipping keepsakes, and ink paw prints, that are created at your home are included in this service.

Your pet’s body care can also be provided by Dr. Wensing if desired (scroll down for details).

In-Home Euthanasia Service + Communal Cremation (no ashes returned) (scroll down to see In-Home Euthanasia Service + Private Cremation/ashes returned)

• Pets 31-70 pounds - $700

This service provides a private, peaceful, caring and comfortable passing for your pet in your home. Hair clipping keepsakes and ink paw prints created in your home, body removal, and communal cremation are included in this service. No ashes will be returned with this service. The ashes of your pet will be spread with other pets in Winters CA. If you desire your pets ashes be returned to you see the private cremation option below (scroll down for details).

In-Home Euthanasia Service + Private Cremation/ashes returned to you

• Pets under 30 pounds - $850

• Pets 31-70 pounds - $900

This service provides a private, peaceful, caring and comfortable passing for your pet in your home. Hair clipping keepsakes and ink paw prints created in your home, body removal, private cremation, and an engraved wood urn in natural or cherry (see sample photo) are included in this service. Your pet’s ashes can be picked up at the cremation facility in Livermore or mailed to your home. Cremation services are provided by Golden State Pet Crematorium (formerly Valley Pet Loss Center) in Livermore.

Owner Attended Cremation (additional fees apply): Attending your pets cremation allows you to view your pets body, witness the body entering the cremation oven and take your pet home with you. This service is scheduled with Golden State Pet Crematorium (formerly Valley Pet Loss Center) and will not be on the same day as your pets euthanasia unless scheduled ahead of time. Additional fees apply for this service and are paid directly to Golden State Pet Crematorium (formerly Valley Pet Loss Center) at the time of the cremation.

Appointments are available most weekdays and weekends. In general, at least 24-48 hours notice is recommended. Sometimes same day appointments can be accommodated, however Dr. Wensing does not provide emergency services.
